December Business Spotlight: Foundry Food + Tap

In November 2022, owner Michael DeWitte opened Foundry Food + Tap in Coralville, offering a variety of entrees, local brews, and craft cocktails. DeWitte, began his restaurant journey at 16 in Marion’s Carlos O’Kelly’s, holding both his first job and management role there. Originally from Cedar Rapids, he later worked at Granite City post-college before starting his own venture.

Foundry Food + Tap invites you to a warm and friendly place where good ingredients and friendliness come together. With over 25 taps, half of them local, there’s a beer for everyone. DeWitte notes, “We’re not a brewery, but we love our local breweries.” Their late night happy hour, on-tap sangrias and lunch size pastas are big hits with customers. And, if you find yourself in the Quad Cities, make sure to drop by their location at 5055 Competition Drive in Bettendorf.
