Built in 1858, the Amana General Store is a prominent historic landmark in the village of Amana. From the time it opened until 1932, the store served the community with all of its material needs that the communal society did not provide. Today, the store has become a family of businesses offering items from far off­ places alongside Amana and Iowa-made products. The store features Amana Coff­ee & Tea Co., an exclusive line of flavored whole-bean co­ffees and loose-leaf teas, and the International Christmas Market, a year-round holiday wonderland.

The Little Red Wagon, located next door to and operated by the Amana General Store, off­ers toys powered by old-fashioned play and imagination.
